Hi all..
Iv put my nc30 back together after receiving it in pieces. Only taken 6 months!!
It doesn't have snorkel of flap on air box but standard air filter.
It has a blue flame end can anand iv had the exhaust systesystem off and new studs gaskets etc..
Rigged tank up temp with fuel. Took at bit but fired up.
Will tick over for a bit but misses, backfires, pops etc and generally rough.
Also rev counter not working. When started sickts at just under 1000 rpm.
Any ideas much appreciated.
missing, poor idle no rev counter help pls!!

If the rev counter isn't faulty / wired wrong then a bad earth is likely, this might also be causing a bad running.lillico wrote:Hi all..

Airbox won't work right without snorkel and flaps but thats more at speed not idle.
I presume carbs have been cleaned / checked / balanced and all the pieces are in the right places. valve clerances are ok? and carbs are balanced?
After checking earths check the electrical system is charging ok
