Feel free to crack the wise jokes...

Am i right in assuming this hosing with a t-junction are the breather pipes from the carbs?

It's a breather for the tank, mate. I shamelessly ripped this photo off Deviant400:

yes the hose that sticks out from the T piece goes to the tank breather , the other two ends hang down the left side of the motor and vent to air :peace:

Just to clarify then, the top hose connects to the aluminium screw piece on the top right of the tank?

Also why why are on this subject does anyone recognise this pipe, and where it goes? is the pipe that hangs of the left hand side of the air box. Whats the small clear pipe tucked inside the rubber hose for or do?

Errors made, lesson learn't. Make note of everything.....

Yes, the top hose threads up through the eyelet in the screen brace and plugs on to the cap on the top of the tank. As far as this new hose goes, I'm not certain where it's from. No idea why it would have another piece of hose inside it either. Sorry.

I was right in my assumption, whats happened is that the plastic that hangs of the airbox where the hose slides on had broken off, So the previous owner stuck the small clear pipe in and siliconed it in to hold it in place...
