backfire flames

Hi all, I got my engine running this weekend after a two year rebuild and im getting backfire and flames. 7k upwards when blipping it but not so much when revved slowly, but im a bit concerned as it didn't do it before, has any one got any idea's what the problem may be?

Yeah may be! As when I first started it pissed petrol out the carbs overflow but sorted that with care cleaner spray and a tap but may be something still not shuting off in the cabs and letting too much fuel through, I was worried it may be the timing but surely it would be really bad or not work at all if it was the timing

Running rich / exhaust leak.

Needles and jets in the right way?

Unless it's leaking petrol still i'd wait until it's a rideable bike, see how it rides and get it dyno'd

The needles and jets are o.k as they haven't been touched since I last rode it, and was running ok then, ill probably put some exhaust paste round where the front pipes join the rest of it and see.
