Rev counter

Post by Alluny »

Dear all,
Please can someone advise me, I have just started my RVF 400 up after about 3 years or being burried in the back of my garage.
One the carbs had filled the floats she spluttered into life, and soon was ticking over sweetly,
Everything works except the tacho (rev counter) sat at zero and didnt move!
Has anyone got a clue as to why this may be, is there a fuse just for this, where is the feed picked up from?
Please help..
Thanks

Many thanks, it was the earth on the back of the rev counter, cracked the screw undone and it sprung into life. :P
