Fuel pump questions plus others
i know a few of you on here run fuel pumps mostly zxr400 ones. is they any reason for this??
also when doing the HRC spec carbs nc30 open air box do you have to do the tap mod some of you havent others have and do i need to run a pump with the open air box mod??
any advice and help would be great bit lost at the mo just need some advice and help thank you

If your running full HRC carbs i think you'd run into to problems if you didnt mod the fuel tap.
If you need a pump then most will do the job, ive seen FZR, CBR6 and ZXR pumps on NC's. In the notes for my T. Scott HRC motor it says either run a FZR 400 fuel pump or keep the tank topped, that motor was used for the TT tho so lots of long flat out sections where theres a need for lots of fuel. On a short track id start with just the tap mod then if its starving add a pump.
Ram air setups always run a fuel pump.
