Re: xivlia's thread of nc30 problems and questions
just measured it. and its giving all sorts of numbers... 0.3ohm, 600ohm infinity ohm. and when i move the chassis probe around, it gives me fluctuating readings, and when i keep the probe still, its giving me infinity.

I would suggest that you examine the battery -ve lead and its connection points at the battery terminal and chassis closely for a defect. The resistance from the -ve terminal of the battery to a OEM earth point on the chassis should not be higher than the reading you get when the multimeter probes are shorted together i.e. if multimeter readings 0.3 ohm with probes shorted then -ve battery terminal to chassis earth point should also read 0.3 ohm.

xivlia wrote:i have a haynes manual.... and i have used it.... the starter clutch was broken so i changed it. but when the starter clutch broke, something else broke with it, hence why the electrical system is fucked up. and i dont know what it is.... thats my problem. the haynes manual isnt helping me with that thats why im asking here... ive went through the whole ignition system section on the manual and tried everything and everything is fine..... but still no spark. you guys are my last resort for help. if it not in the book, then i ask here.
I said Honda manual.
You can download the service manual written by the people who made the bike. It has many useful informations inside it. You should already have it.
