Anyone heard of JHA?

Post by doodleface »

Hey dudes,
I have an RVF that came with a full "JHA" racing exhaust system, its two seperate pipes located on each side of the bike. Problem is that for a "Racing system" they seem really badly/flimsily mounted. Anyone else have these pipes? Do they flop around alot? Seems they aren't actually bolted to the engine instead, slide over a male pipe extension that's bolted to the engine, headers basically "Float" and are only attached to the exhaust at the rear of the bike.
Anyone else got these? What do you know? I was thinking of even going back to stock cause they seem awfully loose.

Any pics please of what you mean?

Jha are nice fully sprung race systems which allow a little movement from their interference fit but shouldnt be loose.

If your thinking of getting rid I would be interested.

Don't sell them to kris..he has already got most of the world's supply stashed in his wardrobe! His wife asked us to try and get him to calm down with the systems :-D

JHA are good systems - they can be mounted right and not be wonky.

If we're fishing for them - I'll swap a single can full system..lol

Well i really need to spend more time on this bike. Finally pulled all the fairing off and had a good look. Only 1 nut on each of the exhaust brackets is on, on both sides, meaning it can pivot. The bolts themselves were cut or ground off for some stupid reason. I will make different adapters and that should fix my floating problem. Sorry boys, no JHA system for you! Lol

I wonder if it's my old system? A few pics and I could identify it. If it is mine then I had it imported from Japan and had a bit of work done to it so that it was put right. The cans do move about quite easily on their mounts. It's also one of the few proper full systems for the NC30/35 and look, sound and go the very best. If it is going up for sale I'd like to e in with a shout to buy it back.

I reckon doodleface is an Aussie member so not likely - typical of the usernames us folk would use over here lol!

We seem to get a high proportion of imported bikes over here with decent systems fitted.
