Re: NC30 Honda Britain rep
Not a lot to update of late, the rear axle needs the thread sorting and the front magtek needs the disc bolt threads replaced. Both are beyond my abilites so need to find someone to do that for me. Im also going in for a op tomorrow so there wont be any progress for a few weeks.Deviant400 wrote:
Had some more goodies turn up for it tho, PFM cast iron discs and Ohlins shock so now i dont have to rob the Maxton off the road bike

No the ohlins was off geoff but thinking about the maxton ive had on the road bike was originally from kris
Nothing too serious just a nose job
not in that way tho, ive had no sense of smell for years so thought it about time i got it sorted. Starting to wish i hadnt bothered now since they told me what they were actually going to do to me
@Kieran, Yes those are the ones, sorry i had to have em since i already had a spare set of centres for them in the garage

I'm not just saying this because I'm selling one but a new shock would be the first mod I would ever do to an NC30! Makes the handing sublime!
Got a top of the range Nitron somewhere too! Lol

Re: NC30 Honda Britain rep
yeah front forks should be ok, ricks kit fitted so will just need to set them up a bit at current there mid way on the adjusters as a base setting will give them a tweek after ive took the bike out, rear has been done by brook , feels good but will see after i ring its neck on a few twistys , so at least its not as tired as it was , my next spend will be a decent rear shock
Just say the word and i'll whip the cams out.
Swingarm is finished, i had the sense the press the bearings in this time rather than twat em with a big hammer
HRC axle and RVF shock linkage fitted, ignore rotten shock its not staying.

The wheel nut locks dead after about 6 turns which worrying, the axle thread looks fine so hopefully its the nut so a new one can be made. Need to sort a rear disc, a light weight one would be nice as would a light weight caliper, RS250 maybe???
How did you get your Swing-arm that clean is it resprayed or what
its killing me i cant find something that cleans all this marks off
