Re: JETTING ADVICE NEEDED!
think i may go down the standard route as I only need the stacks and a few jets then a dyno run. Yeah its a race/track bike I bought it like this but seems like the last guy thought he knew better than Mr. Honda.. Think its a bit strange to have standard needles without the shims.. This will have the effect of leaning out the midrange I believe?

Re: JETTING ADVICE NEEDED!
If you are going to "HRC" the bike - then on the carbs it is a full beans job or nowt.
For my riding, it was easier to tune, lovely to ride and I've stoeln the bits to go on my road NC now instead of the open RVF carbs that was running.
no shims on the needles is not a good call - they have .5mm as std, You sure they are std needles?

Re: JETTING ADVICE NEEDED!
well there is nothing written on them so looks like they could be aftermarket. May be cheaper and easier to buy a set of used carbs and pinch the stacks, needles, and pilot jets off them rather than order up all the separate parts.

Re: JETTING ADVICE NEEDED!
nothing stamped on them at all - JZG or similar?
Do they have adjustable clips?
Start at the start and get it going from there I reckon.

Re: JETTING ADVICE NEEDED!
Nope nothing at all. Gonna set up like on cammos guide as everyone seems to have good results from that and go from there. If you know of anyone with standard carb parts let me know!
Cheers for your help buddy.
