Regulator / Rectifier?
hi guys,
Im thinking about replacing the standard regulator unit with one from a different bike. problem is what bike would you recomend? also how would i go about wiring one up...
the plan is to be able to charge my phone whilst on the move (phone is my satnav)..
any idea's would be much appreciated!

Why don't you just hook a car cigarette lighter socket up to your battery and then get a in car charger and waterproof it with insulation tape (i used heat shrink)
You can get them form halfords for a few pounds

this is mine. fitted with Aprilia RS125 rectifier. almost 2 years now working nicely.
