Rear brake joint nut leaking, I think?

Yep, you need to get rid of the old swivel joint. Don't forget to use a copper crush washer :peace:
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Getting rid of that old swivel joint is proving to be a challenge, it's stuck fast and I really do mean stuck! I have left the caliper fitted on the bike so I can give it some force but it isn't budging. I'm concerned I'll damage something trying to force it too much, I guess its been there for 20 years so its not keen to leave.

All sorted, installed and doing the overnight weighted lever trick, but pretty solid even before then
