Ive currently got a NC21 and have had it for nearly 2 years now its been great fun and am currently rebuilding it with alot of new bits, however ive just been offerd a NC24 for £200, its been stood two years and dosent currently run its in need of a new petrol tank.
Im tempted to get it and take all the good bits off it to use on my nc21, swingarm, forks, etc, i believe are a straight up fit and the amount of spares i'd have would be great, what do you guys reckon as it would be optional whether to break it or get the thing back on the road or use it as a sprint bike!

Would imagine the nc24 is a completely different animal and not many parts are interchangeable between them ?

Frames are identical between the models so you can fit everything, swigning-arm, forks, plastics.

The NC24 engine internernals and carbs are different to the NC21, as well as the loom, if it were me i'd prefer to use the NC24 engine (fit your NC21 plastics to the NC24)

But apart from that you can swap everything other, if you do transplant the engine you'll need the loom / ignition box too

There you go then would snap it up at that price gives you loads of options and you could always sell on leftover parts .

If the exhaust collector is mild steel, expect it to be fucked by now....

I would take it
I didnt know the looms where diffrent however the main parts i want of it are the forks, swingarm and race clip on's! :smile:

However the more i think, the more i keep coming up with other bits of use! ;)

Theres not a lot of difference in the clip-ons.

If all it needs is a fuel tank i'd put your plastics / tank on the NC24 and use that.

The NC24 carbs are better that the NC21 also but it works better as a kit.

Just got it back and it needs atleast a fuel tank and a set of tyre's + the brakes un sticking to go back on the road!
However its got fiberglass bodywork that looks to be non std chinese fitment, took me an hour to get the bodywor off as it was held on by rusted rounded off screws that just turned and wouldnt come out!

Its got proper race clip ons on not the OEM honda ones their made by a company called Race Products!
And the forks are in need of seals but there realy good condition as the grease and grime has protected them form the elements!

Its realy just a case of swapping the swing arms and the forks over to my NC21 and maybe the clipons as well and then keeping it in running condition to be used as a sprint/track bike!

I know its not a NC30 but these little bikes can still show a lot of the later big inlines a trick or two in the bends :D
