1994 cbr6 complete front end to nc29 400

Post by gege »

Hello all,

upgrading race bike suspension on a budget.

Have found a 1994/5 cbr600 complete front end for nice money. can anyone advise for and against this for a conversion to my completely standard (suspension) cbr 400 nc29.

are the brakes better and can i expect better frint handling after a rebuild??

Any advice and insight is greatly appreciated prior to me wasting money.

:peace:

brakes are not better.

nc30 sliders/fork lowers onto your current fork stanchions will get you better brakes

For a cheapish upgrade, get CBR900 92-97 ish front end. Get forks, yokes, clip-ons, axle, and brakes, and your wheel and discs work. The brakes allow you to use CBR600RR calipers and master, top pre-radial brakes. I picked up similar as a full set for £100 + the brakes.
