160/60 18 on rear of NC30

Just noticed that BT023s are available in this size. What do you think on an NC30...? (with matching 120/60 front)

got bt016s on my GSXR750, so far so good. want dual compound without getting a 17 rear so wondering how the handling would be affected (if at all) with the larger width tyre. will it clear the chain etc?

Hi Banoffee,

Have you experimented with the wider 160/60/18 option? If so how have you found it? Any issues?
I'm thinking of getting a set of BT016 or BT021's standard front but with the wider rear. Would you recommend 'converting' to this setup?

Cheers mate, Kis

Can I just add to the BT016's. I had them on my CBR and hated them. Dunno how the carachteristics changes on the smaller bikes, but I just didn't get on with the 016's.

Not yet on the NC30, waiting for the 090 rear I recently fitted to wear out so will be a little while.

016 on the GSXR, love them on that. New S20 on the Speed Triple, ditto.
