Right I finally got my carbs off to clean - to get at my dodgy starter motor.
On checking the pilot screws they were all set different.
carb 1 - 2 1/4 turns
carb 2 - 1 1/2 turns
carb 3 - 2 turns
carb 4 - 1 3/4 turns
Now I have cleaned the carbs and put them back together and set the pilots on the correct settings. 2 1/4 out.
Do they need altering any more with my new ( ish ) end can ( with bafle removed ), I have heard people saying another 1/4 turn out.
Does it make an difference? Or is best left as standard.
The exhaust system is standard and so is the airfilter ( new )
Cheers.

See how it runs.
Sometimes a race can will flow a little more at tickover and so lean it off a bit.
So long as the revs dont start to hang it should be ok.
