VFR 400 NC30 rear shock - regas/replace?

Post by juanv »

Hi

Bought my vfr nc30 last week and noticed that the bike feels very hard on the road!

"Jumping" up and down on the bike one can see/feel that the rear shock gives way but then suddenly comes to an halt, its not "easing" into it but rather stops like hitting a brick wall, what could it be?

Does it need a re-gas or is it time for a new/second-hand one? :?:

Thanx

Your rear shock is probably knackered, you can either get it rebuilt or buy an aftermarket one. There's loads of threads on this subject if you care to use the search function.

expect to pay between £100 - £160 for a rear shock rebuild and regass if your want to keep the original then £250 upwards for a aftermeerkat one , simples
