Well wheels are fitted, new BT090's are scrubbed thanks to a couple of sessions at Ty Croes last weekend - and i can confirm that it goes around corners quite well

Thanks to Kayla for the spacers - they worked a treat.

So from the original pics, now with Mugen CDI, carb cleaned and jetted correctly, oil pump adjusted (good job its always run on quality oil, oil pump was 5mm low on adjustment) Excel rims fitted, BT090's and Talon big disc conversion

So what's it like to ride ? well gearings a bit all over the place, i reckon it tops out around 90 now and is a bit urgent off the mark, so a couple of teeth down at the rear will sort that and turn it into a better mannered road bike.
Handling sub 60 is pin sharp and just does exactly what you want and gives loads of feedback. after 60+ it feels quite light and when pushed never feels totally "with you" if that makes sense. most light bikes are similar and are less stable than heavier bikes at speed.
Brakes are the bollocks and bloody good and overall its a hoot and a joy to ride. The AR system and pipe make for some choppy town work, so its a bit pop pop in town and stuttery which is less smooth compared to a Mk2 or 3, but it sounds quite lively for sure.

anyway one day it will get a full strip, powdercoated frame, rebuilt and fit all the new plastics - but for now i will just use it like it and enjoy it as a road weapon.

debating whether i should ride this to cosford tommorow.
its around a 120 mile round trip, and it is like sitting on a fence - and not that fast, but its a hoot through towns and back lanes

lovely looking supermoto there....love the big motoX strokers.
I used to ride an IT465 on the road, monster nutter loony wheelie machine that shook like a washing machine loaded with wet towels on full spin!!
I wish I'd kept it along with the Pepsi RG500 - they're worth a fortune now

and here it is at oulton. did well out there with the normal road bikes and sea of gixxers. hardly hte king of the late brakers, but with no weight (in the bike anyway) it was very much last minuite.com
