GSXR 400 GK76a - carb pipes???
Hello all - I have taken off the carbs to give them a good cleanand check the general condition of them......
The "mechanic" before me has put bits of garden hose on instead of petrol pipes heldon with cable ties and a piece of string.
I have 7 pipes 1 - is a breather no problem 2 - is a breather no problem 3 - vacuum pipe to middle of petrol tap 4 - petrol pipe to left of carbs no problem 5 - petrol pipe to right of carbs no problem 6 and 7 are 10mm tubing that go to the rhs and lhs side of the carbs and if you blow dowm them air comes back through the petrol feed pipes. But no idea where they connect
Des anyone know where 6 and 7 connect to - any photos? or better still doesanyone live close to Orpington where I can takea lookand pictures - this is a mare???
Thanks foryour help Danny.

if you look halfway down the page of the link rgvsp posted a picture of sp carbs and the pipes you talk of can be clearely seen coming from the float bowls, they go to the airbox and pressurise the float bowls.

Hello VVS - on you photo with the SP carbs and the large yellow arrows showing the 12mm connector pipes from carb to air box (2),
Can you tell me where the smaller pipes just behind the 12mm breather pipes the two that come out of the very centre of the carb bodies 6mm ID pipes????Go - do they connect to the airbox?
I have fitted the O rings and the bike now starts and revs to 10k and if you try and rev it it just bogs?????
Can the ECU have any effect of engine revs - **^&^%$£ what a nighthorse to sort out.
Thanks Dan
