Fuel tap issues

Post by Bike_Nut »

Hi

My NC30 has never had the vacuum membrane in the fuel tap, and the tap leaks slightly when off. This means if the needle and seats ever fail to seal I am in trouble.

Any suggestions? Are new vacuum membranes available? Can the tap be serviced or new ones obtained. I feel its a ticking timebomb.

Thanks

Rick Oliver sells fuel tap rebuild kits that includes the diaphram, could be a good option.

leaking tap sticking float valve probably the only way to kill an nc30 engine other than a silver bullet as i found out on my trackbike petrol in the oil not a good thing .
