NC30 Choke Cables NLA - here`s the answer...

Post by RickOliver »

Since NC30 choke cables are now discontinued and completely unavailable and even the mighty Venhill can`t come to our rescue and produce replicas because of that weird top fitting, here`s a nice tidy solution -

Works out at about £20 as a complete conversion using genuine Honda parts - if I can source pattern cables it might be a tad cheaper.

In stock now, mail me if you`re interested...

Yes, a bit of a liberty I know but I don`t have standard yokes on mine - it`s OK, I got your bike to sign a Model Release before I posted it...

looks better then the standard setup. Isnt that a fireblade choke adjuster? (looks like the one from my old RRN)

Another thing to add to the shopping list :)

Yes, it`s a classic bit of `parts bin engineering` using components from 2 other Honda models...

Excellent solution, Rick! I bought one brand new for around 29 euro + vat for my ex-NC30 in '09 and I sold it with the bike as spare. Not knowing that it was one of the last from the Honda shelf in their Belgium warehouse in Gent.
