Zxr400 forks
Seen some zxr400 forks for sale, but the seller doesn't know which model they are from.
I need the L model forks to be able to fit them to an NC30 right?
Is there any way of telling which model the forks are from?
Speedy reply will be greatly appreciated!

Well i can tell you that the h forks are around 25mm longer than the L model.
Dont know if that's any help.

Re: Zxr400 forks
L are indeed longer, the L SP forks would be my choice if they were available, there 3 way adjustable as opposed to the normal 2 way

Re: Zxr400 forks
The H model used 300mm discs and the L used 310mm discs, so the caliper mounting is different.
Also, the main upper fork leg diameter is different, the H is about 1mm smaller in diameter.
FYI ZX636 and ZX6R forks fit into L yokes

Re: Zxr400 forks
Thanks for the replies guys.
I guess telling the difference without having a set of each infront of you isn't easy, exact measurements for both models length etc aren't coming up on google or anywhere either.
Lizard, yeah if you could point him in my direction i'd be grateful
Scooble, could I use the fitting kit from rick oliver to put a pair of zx636/zx6r forks on my NC30?

Re: Zxr400 forks
Yes you can. But you still need the L model yokes.

Yes let's hope the forks are l models!
Would I also be right in thinking that besides the yokes and RO fitting kit the forks are a straight swap?

Re: Zxr400 forks
To the best of my knowlage the rick o kit allows you to fit the zxr L yokes ( inc stem). This allows the fitment of zxr L forks.
But the zxr yokes will take zx636 or zx6r forks as a straight fit.
