FZR 600 FOXEYE CLOCK ISSUE

hi guys iv got a little problem with my 400/600, ive fitted the foxeye engine and running gear but when i start the bike the rev needle starts to perform a little dance, is there a wire that needs to be altered? any help on this would be much appreciated! thanks 2SPH

TPS ? is it a Thundercat CDI ?

The dance is a rudimentary diagnostic system, what number does the tacho jump to?

i think its the foxeye cdi and the needle usually jumps to 8000 then back down

I take it your not using the fuel sender,Join together the sender wires and your problem will go away. ;)

Why connect the loom together? That way you lose the fuel light.

I took a picture of the connectors a while ago, over in another thread.

This, and I also had to short the reserve switch as well. You can splice the 400 tank wiring and fuel pump into the 600 loom pretty easily, the colours are the same (I think!)
