bought carbon ART exaust from dx4 but a problem....

Post by xivlia »

okay, so as some of you may know, dx4 sold some exhausts for the nc30/35, i bought one of the Carbon ART exhausts he had for a fiver! pretty cheap :D. it arrive today, but now, ive realized that the inlet for the exhaust is about 72-73mm OD? its 70+ anyway because the inlet is a bit dented, i cannot get an accurate measurement... anyhooo... my current TSR pipe is a 51mm (2") OD, and i was wondering if there would be some sort of link pipe i could buy from someone? something like 51mm-73mm OD link pipe... if there is such a thing? i was really looking forward to hearing the sound of this beast

cheers.

I'm sure you could get an adaptor

Try messaging these guys: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/35mm-ADAPTOR- ... 983wt_1163
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Or you could try Chris Tullet exhausts, very very good and will do all sorts of little jobs, reasonable too.

Is this can to fit a standard cut system ?

Or is your exhaust an after market system ?

Take proper measurements and email them. They will make you an adapter for just over 5gbp.
