nc29 clutch rattle, advice please

Hi guys, have a 91 nc29 and noticed a rattle and vibration from r/h/s when in neutral with the clutch out....pull the clutch in a tad and noise and vibration although still there becomes hardly noticeable.
Am concerned about using the bike as is and hoping someone can advise on whats wrong, how to put right and if ok to use as is?

Think you'd be best taking the cover off and having a look. Could be the clutch basket has notches worn in it from the clutch plate tabs( should be able to file flat if not too bad) or one of the spring posts has snapped ( mine did this)

Thanks for that, will open her up at weekend, have a manual and looks straight forward enough for me to manage. Guess ill be needing gasket and clutch nut.....
