NC 29 Swingarm installation problem.

Post by Crazy_German »

Hi guys,

Got a problem with installing my NC29 swingarm in the frame.

By tightening the axle nut I squeezed the gasket-ring on the needle bearing side with the bushing which gets mounted into the needle bearing (stick through the gasket-ring).

I´ve got an haynes manual and an hondda parts manual too and I think I maybe forgot to install the spacer between the roller and needle bearings. I can´t find him anywhere in my workshop but its the only answer to that problem!
In the swingarm is an big pipe pressed in but that one can´t be that spacer cause its diameter is too big doesn´t it?

So however I think i need that spacer new but don´t want to wait for an new honda part and don´t want to pay for that when I can do that symply myself with an pice of steelpipe and an turining machine at my workplace.

So if anybody could give me the measurements accuratley so that I could craft that pipe myself that would be great. Iff you could help me please give me the Measurements taken with an slide gauge not just with an folding rule and as metric data.

thanks folks :rocks: :!:
