Small front sprocket

Looks like running a 14t front sprocket hasn't been kind to my swingarm slider resulting in the chain making contact and wearing the swingarm a bit.
I'm considering just running a 15t front and varying my gearing with just rear sprockets and matching chain length. This would mean I could keep my ride height and wheelbase constant.
Is this an option? Does anyone do this?
I think the largest rear I'll need is a 47t for the tracks I'll be running.
Anyone know of a wheelbase sweet spot?
Or alternatively I need a new slider and run the 14t front on the two tracks I need it on.
Anyone have a slider I could buy?
Just had my freshly rebuilt RVF down the road for a gearbox(VFR) test and all feels fine.

even with the 14t sprocket S/A should be ok most pro down to bad chain adjustment. you can change either sprocket make the same ratio

You'll struggle to get anything bigger than 45 on the back dude. I've had 14s on the bikes for several years and there is no swingarm<>chain contact at all - of note.

You know,now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure this bike suffered a catastrophic chain breakage before I had it.The water pump was busted off in the same incident. Very possible that the damage occurred then. Would still like to get an intact swingarm slider/protector.
I was thinking as much regarding running the big rear sprocket.
