About koso speedos
Hi!! Im considering to change my speedo for one koso. I have been loking here: http://www.hondarvf.com/workshop/digi-d ... stallation
They said the temp sensor its the same size so you just can swap them. I got a big question, sorry if it sound stupid but i got no idea... Its the fan switch independent to the temp sensor?? If you change the OEM temp sensor with the KOSO one, how will the fan turns on?? its the fan an independent circuit?? If yes then is easy if not what do you need to do to make it work?
Also i know that there is two wires entering the speedo That are connected together by a resistor. This is just to tell the bikes electrics if the sensor has been disconnected, and if it is not in the circuit causes the bike to misfire above 5500 rpm. So if i change the speedo the bike will misfire?? how can be solved??
Thanks in advance.

Yes, they work independently so no issues.dengus wrote:Its the fan switch independent to the temp sensor?? If you change the OEM temp sensor with the KOSO one, how will the fan turns on?? its the fan an independent circuit??
You can get around this problem by doing the resistor speed derestrictor mod, guide here: http://www.400greybike.com/docs.htmdengus wrote:So if i change the speedo the bike will misfire?? how can be solved??
