NC30 "VFR" logo in vector graphic form

Post by missis sumner »

I'll post it up because it may be of use to someone, but due to the mismatching graphics on the fairings of my type 6, I traced an image I'd found on t'web to produce a new sticker. Anyway, here ya go, "VFR" in all its glory. ;)

It's in AutoCAD dxf format.

Ah, but GIFs and JPGs are raster files, so not scaleable. But I can correct both in the morning. ;)

I've put a JPG on there now so that those without a DXF viewer can see what they're missing.

Hi.

If your struggling for decals on a type 6 (like I was) I've found this company.

Top quality decals and very good colour apparently, a little pricey I suppose but I'm sure you can get specific parts from them.

Ta for that. So on a standard bike, are all the graphics supposed to be vinyl decals, then, or are any of them painted?

Mine's a bit of a mix, but until I've got full confidence on it, and am no longer worried about dropping it, I'm not going to spend any money on paintwork. ;)

On a type 6 the lower fairing and seatunit is just sprayed white with factory decals the mids have a split colour of white, red and blue and the Nosecone is just red. All the graphics you see are decals vinyl ones.
