GK76 carbs
trying to sort out the carbs on my gix and need some insight
bought these carbs for it but as you can see theres seems to be pipes missing

now ive worked out and got them all conected again after looking at the carbs on the expolded view in the manuals section but obviously there's now one pipe coming up from the middle of these pipes
where does it go

and also just to double check the bigger ones (yellow arrows) just sit into the two conecters at the top/front of the airbox?
got nothing to go on as the bike had different carbs fitted to it ???

Re: GK76 carbs
Is the bore on the new carbs larger? are they from the 35mm sp.
The main thing is the lower rail pipes go to the petrol tank and the upper rail tubes are breathers and go up to the top of the air box.

Re: GK76 carbs
I'm pretty sure you have some SP carbs. Hope the picture helps.

Re: GK76 carbs
It connects to part of the TPS (throttle position sensor) unit that I believe would be on top of the airbox. I'll try and scan a picture tonight out of the manual.

Re: GK76 carbs
Here is a diagram from the workshop manual. I honestly don't know what would happen by blocking the TPS off. Might be worth another post to see if someone has put SP carbs on a standard 76.

Do you want to part with the SP carbs by any chance, and leaking how(from the overflows?)

it was the original carbs that are leaking from the overflows the sp carbs are supposed to be fine
and until my bikes running i wont be parting with anything
