Yam's don't really leak - they burn oil. I use 10w40 patchoily, give the garage a hippy feel

You've got to admit that yam calipers are a bit crap, me fzr ones are always sticking, but me nc30 ones i've rebuilt once in three years and are still great!
But i still love me 3en1! Honest i do........

Re: Which FZR400 modle
I think the calipers are ok, just keep them clean. I did my 3TJ ones once and never had a problem.
The honda sliding calipers have ok reliabilty too as long they're clean and the sliding pins are paked with grease (unlike a mates Hornet) they could do with having the top and bottom mounting bolts the same length though.
Given the choice though I'll go with 4 pistons rather than 2

Actually i will chip in here, and say the brakes on all my old 3XV's were possibly the best brakes i have ever had on a bike. granted the finish was shite, but they sure worked well.
