Judge those panels are a joke, even for the cheap price you'd expect the decals to be stuck on properly and at least the clips to be intact. I know you get what you pay for but that is terrible.

thanks for the comments folks. I have resigned myself that this rubbish is not fit to be coupled with a VFR 400. I may use them as mould and make a set of glassfibre panels for the bike. I have told the seller that the photos are up on this site and also 2 other sites that I am a member of.
the sad part of this is that the panels are for my sons bike and he has worked long and hard to fund the purchase of the bike and the purchase of the panels. He has put a lot of hours sorting the rest of the bike out with suspension etc and is gutted about the fairings.

Shame that the panels turned out like that Judge, both for you and your son. I'm sure if he has put this much effort into the bike it will end up a real stunner.

judgevfr, sorry to see you had to accept this crap and couldn't get refunded from them. but good on you for posting up pics and naming and shaming them ! for the life of me i cannot understand why after making and selling probably hundreds of pattern fairings they don't re-invest some of their profits in improving the paint and fit quality etc glad you told them that you posted up on forums warning others.

As i said before you get what you pay for.I was the guy that asked Sky to make me the "WEST" scheme so mine was the first out of the shop and i am happy with it. I emailed him the other day asking for a new nose cone as i have had a little miss hap and need a new one.

I got a reply in 5 mins and a good price to boot.

Yes some parts could be alot better but when you pay £200 for painted panels you need to take them with a pinch of salt.

There was a full set of NC24 panels on ebay the other day, all listed separatly but in good condition (would just need painting to your colour)

i had an accident on my nc30 and am thinking of getting these pannels too

i have read this thread in its full and i can see the pro's n cons
pro's painted, complete, price

cons bad quality paint work, work involved to to fit.

Now bike isnt the best condition atm but they could be a good winter fix while i do the long hunt for oem panels.

big choice ahead !!!! ;)

Hi Sabre,

Got them from a company called "motofairings" on flee bay. I'm not to sure if they are PVC or ABS.

Cheers
Terry.
If you can't get it up them, then get it down them.
