It's an NC24 and depending on its originality I've seen them go for anywhere between £600 - £1000

Not original, but i like the colour scheme. BTW, It'll be a 1988 bike being an NC24

NC24 model, older, less common and therefor harder to get bits for.
It is less desirable than the nc30 and therefore worth less. 500-800 would be my valuation at this time

Yep been resprayed.
Good engine.. let down by the brakes and the suspension, as the engine packs as much punch as the NC30 lump (albeit a different firing order)
NC30 had better suspension (front and rear) and much better brakes... the 17/18 inch tyres also give better rubber choice. the NC24 is less desirable and harder to get bits for... i'd say around 650.00 - 700.00
Paint job looks decent though.
Fun little bike though.

So was it a standard scheme for a nc21 then or is this a coincidence?

I was offered the bike against money i was owed by a mate, he said he had a NC30
so I sort of own it but maybe ill hold it til he has the cash instead as id rather wait and have an NC30

Never a scheme, co-incidence.

Here are all the official colours for the NC21/24.
And that advertisement is dreaming at 650, feel sorry if somebody pays that much for it.. you can get a poor shape NC30 for that much.
Sold becuase the exhaust is knackered.. there the best part of 200gbp for a replacement and then you need to remove the engine from the frame to change it.
soo 900+ whatever else you need to get it right (it's missing a front disc and brake caliper amonst other things and non-standard fairings.
I wouldn't pay more than 200gbp for it.

I saw that last week when I picked up the ZX6R. Just like the 3EN1 he's got up at around the same money, way over-priced for the condition it's in.
I did have a good look at it, the colour scheme attracted me. The collector is completely rotten and it looks as though it's been repaired with gun gum exhaust paste and silver tape
