I could send you a used standard filter for you to cut the old paper element out, measure the dimensions and slot in some foam if you want.

also quick question with the tyga fairing kit, with the rear subframe that comes with it. how hard is it to take the old one off and fit all the fairings?

well actually, my friend with a vfr nc30 has a foam filter and an uprated induction system which is on the list to get as well, works well and gives it slightly better acceleration and top end. just have to re jet and balance the carbs to deal with the better induction

I use a larger airbox, modified snorkel and foam filter with excellent road/track results, a clean dyno graph and 62hp.

Want to post some pics + more info about that alex? I need to buy a new air filter and my airbox lid is scruffy so I was going to replace it with a carbon one but I'm open to options. How easy is it to modify the snorkel and fit a larger box? Cost too?
