Uk spec indicator help please...

Post by Jayuknc30 »

Evening guys, need some help...

After a phone call to DS spares today about ordering a new pair of rear indicators for the bike, they told me the left side is now discontinued, but the right side is avaliable. (already have uk spec indicators on the bike but they have little marks on so i want new ones!!)

now they told me, that i could buy 2 right sides, and use the exsiting mount on the left hand side and mount the new right indicator on this.

now i dont doubt them but just thought id ask your opion first,

thankyou....

im sure they have a screw underneath to attach it to the mount. so if you reversed it to the other side, wouldnt the screw be on the top and a bit unsightly??

well my uk spec indicators have a small screw for the lens and a large screw for the bracket, both on the bottom.

To be fair you do have a uk bike in your garage, you could check yours. LOL ;-)

The fixing screws will show as they will then be on the top.
If fronts are still available, then a front right will fit, but change over the lamp wiring as they are different lengths front and back.
Early 'Blade indicators [and RC30] are the same.
