Performance gained with a race exhaust?

I`m currently running a NC35 RLR Stage III engine with a stock exhaust system and a HRC ECU.

How much would I gain in performance if I changed to e full race system instead of the stock one?

Is it worth the $595.97USD for the Tyga system without the silencer?
Or are there som other brand to recommend for around the same price?

I would have thought that getting an RLR type system would be the way forwards. There are many other types apart from Tyga and I am sure I'd want a twin outlet system for racing.

The RLR type uses the RVF headers and a link pipe to split the pipesnear the shock linkage.

I do believe that Graeme France has possibly some link pipes and cans for sale..for far less than $600 for a system from Tyga.

I was thinking of a RLR system, but haven't managed to find one yet.
I`m currently using the engine on a road bike so I'm not racing it.
Maybe I`ll drop Graeme a PM then. Thanks!

i will say, i rode a bike which had a tyga system fitted and it went like stink.
the pipe made quite a marked difference and while it was pretty bloody loud it did go very well all through the rev range.

With that engine yes you really should be running a race exhaust, originally I was running a cut rvf system with sp1 style link pipes with that engine, should be able to pick one of them up pretty cheap. How is the engine? All good I hope.

Okay. I did not manage to get the engine in to the frame before the winter came, and right now it's freezing -17c outside...
I really should get my garage warmed up, because the waiting is killing me!

i run a twin stack tyga system , very good quality good power increase worth the extra money i think, as you only get what you pay for.

Andreas, if you are after high rev / high end power with that RLR engine, I'd go for the option with dual can half systems or any full race exhaust systems with single can or twinstack cans.

Did you ask Aly (abrmoto) on here, maybe he can get RLR exhaust system for you...I am not sure.

nah, that had a baffle in. try removing the baffle and i bet it may struggle
