Help needed: RVF400 engine measurements
Hi,
I'm part of a engineering team at uni that designs and builds a small single seat racing car for the Formula Student competition. We are trying to convince our lecturers to switch from a KTM 525 engine to a RVF400 engine.
To do this we need as much information on the engine, ideally a CAD model of the engine. So if any of you guys have any useful links, photos or can give me some measurements of the engine please post them on here,
Thanks a lot Alex

Honda Japan might be your best bet for a full CAD drawing

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Capacity doesn't have much to do with the weight - it has 2 heads and 4 cams for starters....Haldane wrote:Is it really that heavy?? thats quite a lot considering its only 400cc, you sure?
60kg is about right.
