Re: Cosford 2012
I'll be up for a day at Cosford and Brunters. It's not a bad ride to either and always good to see some faces off the forum.
Now I just need to find a nice 3TJ.....

Could possibly do April but not May, that's the GBBikers charity meet.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: Cosford 2012
well nothing is planned as of yet, im aware theres a Europe 400GB trip again, and also the planing on ging for a track day, which both might not be all's idea,
i think we should go with the easter bank holiday and atleast keep this 2-3 year tradition going, last year was pretty good turn out, not much happend was a nice day some went round the museum some sat and relaxed and chatted on the grass bank and then headed home in the afternoon,
it may be an idea as suggested last year to have a ride out to grab a bite to eat at a local pub etc,
id be up and open to any ideas
Rick
(ps there is a Paintball site next door to cosford)

Re: Cosford April 17th 2012?
I suggested a ride out last year and as most people came quite far on their bikes people were happy to chill, a ride out could be organised to quatt cafe(massive biker caff) through the back lanes I know but will let you guys feel for it on the day. As for paint ball, that's a shit idea Rick ha ha.

I saw it so I took it!

I can understand if people have been in the saddle all day wanting to chill, perhaps once we've had a natter and photo shoot a splinter group could go for a ride out

Re: Cosford April 17th 2012?
I reckon it is a central shout for most people.
I reckon we need some form of regional "rep" to arrange hookups for the Greybike posse - Be good to get out for a blast some days and not have to get too radical.
Cosford is 2hrs away, Ponderosa 3hrs..south coast 4hrs..Jockland..fecking miles!
Squires cafe is a comedy hookup, or Devil's bridge and maybe Rivington barn - all have enough room, food and so on.
Cosford is a decent gaff though and it is ont big deal to go there and other places.
Why don't you sort out a Ponderosa ride out? I'm game for a ride out...

Re: Cosford April 17th 2012?
Cosford is about 120 miles (just over 2 hours) from me and there are a few that live an hour or more south again. I'm sure people from the south would agree that it's not the distance that's the killer it's the route we have to take, the M40 and M6 is so dull but the only route unless you do another hour so on the A roads.
