nc35 dies after starting
I just installed new spark plugs and now it starts but when i let go of the throttle the bike dies? I think it has to do with the idle but have no idea where to start any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: nc35 dies after starting
How are you starting it? They (nc30s at least) tend to prefer full choke, no throttle til they're warmed up, then they should be able to come off the choke without dying

Its full choke but it starts either way. It stays running untill you let the throttle then its dies. I think it may be the idle but dont know how to change it.

Re: nc35 dies after starting
did you take carbs off? you may of forgotten to reinstall the choke...
did you make sure the spark plug leads clicked back into place?
if it is the idle you want to adjust it is the plastic screw handle on the left side between the frame and fairings, screw that inwards...
slowsport.

I didnt take the carbs off spark plug wires good but when i tried to adjust idle i found out that it wasnt connected to anything and there was a spring on the ground. Where does it connect to? Thanks for the checklist.

Re: nc35 dies after starting
the idle control adjuster connects on the left carb side. don't have my bike with me to be able to pinpoint it exactly for you but look for a tapped hole the same diameter as the threaded rod end of the adjuster, it goes somewhere in the vicinity of the throttle pulley mechanism.
take off the carbs and follow the pic of the circled red area for approximate location (oh and don't turn your carbs upside down when you take them off)
