HRC carb tray feeler
Following on from Rick Oliver's HRC bellmouth post i am wondering if people would be interested in having their carb trays modded to HRC spec?
If there is enough interest i would be willing to midify members trays if they didnt have the relevant tools etc to do the job themselves for a small fee to cover costs/consumables, they send me their tray and i will return it to them converted?
Thanks James

Re: HRC carb tray feeler
I would buy a few trays off Geoff and then charge say £15 plus postage. That price would be on an exchange basis or they could buy a tray ready done from me if they wanted to keep their standard one.
Does that sound good to anyone?

Heres one james has done

Not the best pic in the world but its spot on, all the holes are finished perfect, no sharp edges etc. He also removed the bracing ribs for the tray
Its designed for the HRC setup, ie no airbox

Re: HRC carb tray feeler
im in for one Jim, would like a spare though as i dont have a spare set of carbs yet, i was and i say WAS very tempted to buy that engine off edge/simon but in all reality im a long way off having the spare time to do any serious engine work this year so the £250 UK engine will be just sat in the garage, doing nothing
great work jim :D

Re: HRC carb tray feeler
Thankyou Tony for posting that picture.
These are as per hrc so they will have the gussets removed with side holes drilled and are to be used without an airbox. Just thought while im doing one i might as well knock up a few for people who are wanting to run this set-up after Mr Oliver has gone to the trouble of making replica bellmouths for us all.
Ive spoken to Geoff and he has a few trays put aside for me so will stick my neck out and purchase these, once done they will be offered to anyone who has shown interest i.e Porndoguk etc
Thanks James
