Linkage rear shock
Hi all,
Bought myself a 1998 CBR 600 F3 shock complete with linkage off ebay, in beautiful condition!
Come to fit it to my 1991 NC29 and having major trouble.
My question is which linkage should I use; the stock NC29 linkage and just connect the CBR600 F3 to it or use the entire 600 linkage along with the shock.
The 600 linkage is in brilliant condition and is already connected to the shock, I'm just having trouble getting the bolts off so tried connecting the full 600 linkage to my bike and doesn't seem to sit right, it seems to catch on the swingarm??
Any help much appreciated!

Re: Linkage rear shock
Just use the standard linkage.
Soak the bolts in plus gas overnight.

Re: Linkage rear shock
Dont forget to cut a 'V' shape out in the linkage for the rebound damping screw or you will shear the screw off.
Just do a search and you will see what i mean

Have just searched the forum and can't really find any guides on where to cut the linkage?cbr400rrn wrote:Dont forget to cut a 'V' shape out in the linkage for the rebound damping screw or you will shear the screw off.

Haven't got a clue what where or how much I will be cutting off. If someone could post a pic or a diagram I will cut it off at work and will rep who ever shows me (if its possible?)
