nc30 vfr400 handle bar removal

do the forks need to come off to get it off? the wind blow my bike over on saturday and snapped the bolt holding the bar end on

hi ,

you just need to undo the big centre nut on the top yoke , then undo the two pinch bolts . think there 6mm allen key bolts , take them out and then gently give the top yoke a tap with a rubber hammer and should pull off . think thats the easiest way round it
