You would loose the original look of the the frame (bad thing in my opinion)... it's just plain aluminium isn't it.

true true! i only thought of powdercoating the swingarm beacause of several marks that would be impossible to polish out due to the finish. i think it would look a little odd with in done and not the frame? ill be searching the gallaries to see what they look like
cheers

Spooky had a load of his bits powder-coated glittery.

The frame is probably best left plain or polished.

As long as you make a decent job of repainting the swinging arm i'm sure anything would look better. As long as it's not bright pink or something!!

Hiya, I sprayed the swingarm on mine with alloy wheel paint then laquered it, mainly because i couldn't afford powdercoating. Tho i dont suppose its much more expensive can a tin of paint and a tin of laquer.....
Cheers

I powdercoated my frame a satin black. I think it looks awesome. I have a grundle of pics if you would like to see them. I just need to get to my laptop. I have limited access to the internet, so I would probably have to email them to you. I have posted a few of them up here....

I have a few of the other side a few pages later... You can see I didn't powdercoat the swinger, as I thought it would be too much.
