Hi, any tips on cleaning a 1992 CBR400RR alli frame to make it look like new?

I managed to get my nsr swingarm back to factory look by stripping it back to bare ally and using scotchbrite pads.

Autosol won't work as its an ally cleaner and the 29 frame is anodised.

My 29 frame's been polished, any idea how to get it looking like standard? :o

Like I said scotchbrite....


The only issue is it marks really easily once it's been done.

Here is a pic of the swingarm once I had finished I don't seem to have any before pics but it was quite badly scratched.

If the Anodising is still there you will need a few applications of oven cleaner to strip back to the aluminium that you can give that nice brushed look to.
