Hi Luke,I looked at an old head that i have,one that i have allready taken the rockers out of,
The bad news is you dont have to remove the screws,it's a long time since i have done this,anyway i have got some pics so that you can see what i did,If you get a can of brake or carb cleaner and spray the rockers and shafts
to remove the oil from between them you can use the rocker in a twisting motion to slide the shaft inwards to remove them,See pics sorry it may be a bit late.

Yeah, I figured that out after I moved one of the the rocker rods back when drilling the bolt! Still, I now have them all out anyway and have sourced replacements so no dramas
Now onto the stuck water pump...

Man, sounds like you're having similar problems to me, only worse. I'm pulling the rear head off tomorrow, hopefully I don't run into any major problems, already found a few stripped threads from the last noob who played with my bike without a torque wrench.
