So my speedo will then read mph? Does that mean it will also act as a derestricter? Simple to fit?

Yes thats rite.
2 min job. Just unscrew the speedo cable from the top of the spedo put it in & screw it back up.

Yes you are correct it will act as a derestrictor as that cuts in at 180km/h but obviously the bike will never get up to 180mp/h so it wont cut in
