The weight of the can is not so big - so, I'm agree that will influence to ground clearance, but not so seriously...

And then you have the quandry of whether to line up the actual can or just the end "spout" with the tail unit. I'm afraid my OCD would drive me crazy on that one!! If it looks good to you mate then crack on, beauty is all in the eye of the beholder!
