Re: Chinese rads: anyone tried them?
Now for the silly questions....
What issue will the filler neck cause?
Will it fit like for like for my existing rads or are these fitted differently cause of the mounts?
Are these suitable for general road use?
As u know I'm in need of rads so could be interested but as I have no idea I don't know if it's what I need
Cheers xx

Re: Chinese rads: anyone tried them?
I went to pick up the "pre production" set yesterday. Geoff has lent me a set to try as he wanted someones opinion/feedback on them and to see how they performed against the standard rads so managed to find some time tonight to have a look at them and see how they fit etc.CMSMJ1 wrote:Geoff has just been round my house to collect his trailer and I got a chance to have a look at these rads.
They are the "pre production" set and will be tested by reversecylinderjim on a trackday soon.
I am going to get some of these rads - they are clean, spanky new and with the small mods that Geoff has asked for ont he spout and the rad guard brackets they are going to be as good as new.
On first inspection i was/am impressed with them, i wouldn't say they were a great deal bigger than standard and all the mounting lugs were in the correct place except for one of the fan mounts which needed a few washers to fill a void (bare in mind im fitting these to a well used track bike so my fan could have been to blame for this). My bike is fitted with race fairings so cant comment on how they fit behind genuine panels but i had no clearance issues and if the weather picks up i will pop over to Mallory Park and see just how well they perform.
So if your looking for some new rads to replace your tired old ones or just wanting to improve your nc these for the money are very good, not oe spec quality but for £165 plus postage they are a good value set of rads.
Ive included a few pics but my camera is crap so abit blurred but you get an idea.

Re: Chinese rads: anyone tried them?
Ordered and paid for the rad today (gulp). It seems paypal have their own exchange rate.
Rads should hopefully be here in 2 weeks. Can anyone wanting a set please stick your name on this post so I can contact you when they appear.
The price is £175 delivered to the UK as I previously stated, I will willingly post worldwide.
