NC29 Forks - Australia

Post by shazznbaz »

Hi Guys,
I am only new to this forum, and have recently got a CBR400 NC29 for a track bike... Wondering if anyone can help me out with some info on the forks. I need to replace the forks, are there any other models that will fit straight into it??? or does anyone know where i can get a set of front forks off a nc29? I am in QLD, Australia.
Any info would be great.
Cheers Phill

cbr600rr full front end fit straight, or RVF400 forks + triple yokes + calipers.

45mm RWU fireblade forks 96-7 should also fit as a complete assembly and come up cheaper and more often than those Parus mentions. These allow you to use better brakes, on your wheel , discs and tyres and the suspension is nice as well as fully adjustable.

Check the race rules where you are if you plan to race it, changing front ends is generally frowned upon ;)

Might be an idea to call RB racing (Sydney), they often have parts or can source them:

VFR400 and NSR250 forks are the same diameter, I think the length is wrong for the nc29 though. I'm sure this has been asked before, a search might turn some info up.
