Re: Deviants nc30 strip and rebuild
Interesting to read your ideas about what NOT to do with your bike
About indicators on the rear end....I ditched the standard NC35 ones (bulky) and I have fitted new NC30 early small types on mines, replaced the orange cap for aftermarket jap clear caps. I had just enough clearance with these combined with my TSR system and Ti cans.
As for GSXR conversion....maybe read info here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21109&hilit=+gsxr

These are the ones sourced back in '07 through family in Asia from random local bike shop in hong kong. These are of brand Posh Japan.

[quote="Deviant400"]pile of stuff went to the coaters today , he quoted me £100 for frame, swinger, sub frame, sidestand, clock brackets, plus various loom brackets and top/bottom yokes, prepped and coated, pick up a week friday , result
ordered a pile of stainless bolts to replace all the bolts for the clocks and subframe/frame and have cleaned up all the engine bolts an spacers swingarm bolts and castle ring jobbys so are now looking like new,
head bearings are on order aswell as the needles and rollers for the swinger ,
in the mean time , time to start the manky clean up of the motor, ready for when the frame comes back ,
seen these look ok for the price , any one fitted these ??

engine cover bolts ,just replaces the bolts on the side casings thats about all, they seem ok.
and for the clocks and various other minor cosmetic bolts all over i used a set like this, i think mine was a 560bit kit, most of the essential bolts like caliper mount/fork clamp/dogbone link etc i kept and polished up,

Re: Deviants nc30 strip and rebuild
well its been a while , seat unit arrived so its a test fit time, bit of a bugger but it went on in the end , problem was if the rear end was seated in the lugs , the front of the unit was half way up the tank, but with a bit of a push and a cringe incase it cracked it went on
here you can see when lined up at the front the rear was stuck up , anyone else had any issues with the tyga seat unit or is it just a tight fit all round for everyone

after a re-fettle and a bit of a shove here and there she went on, need to adjust the pipes a bit but nothing major

so just the lowers to go then to sort out my othr tank then its paint/wrap and graphics time
ohh and new chain and brake lines all round and screen brace , then thats about it for the big jobs , just a pile of small bits and bobs and fine tune the details
