Have they any graphs from them?

Their normal cans etc are great...up to a point.
I really like their T3 cans, and the finish on their Ti stuff looks lovely.

Bit harsh. They sent me a free strap rubber just for the want of asking, once.

Any good reason as to why?

Personally, I have already made up my mind that they're good chaps with a top quality British made product.

Read through these posts and you might get an idea as to why some of us don't really hold them in high regard.

Gotcha. So it'd be best not to order a custom made full system for a bike with probably the most complicated and compact exhaust of any 4-stroke ever built, and ask them to make it in titanium, which is notoriously difficult to work.

However for very subtle race-cans which are made to a good standard in Britain, and sold at a very competitive price, I still see no issues.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree. I personally have had good service from them, and have had two of their cans on very different bikes and been very happy with them. You are blacklisting them on account of someone else's issue with them, despite having no personal experience.

Funny, they did mention that they do a "very nice twin stack system" lol!

I have been tinkering today, the original 110 mains are back in & pilots now set to 2.25 turns out (from the stock 2) as it was showing it at 17:1 at tickover (lean). Float heights/carb balance & needles are left as they were. Just needs a run out now!
I had a little peek inside the rear rocker cover - everything looks like new, nice & clean & now wear evident on cams etc 8-)
A couple of valves are a bit tight, they'll get done over the winter.

Heres the dyno chart;

And a ickle pic of the NC, the wifes hornet & mates Vtec VFR;

Hope the links work.....

Mega lean at idle.. you sure you dont' have an air-leak?

Speak to Kev @ projex who will be able to show you plenty of dyno graphs of many vfr400's he's dyno'd and setup, if you want something to compare yours too.

Shouldn't be anything up with the 115/118 setup but see how you get on with the 110's. The later bikes run fine with the same exhaust and carbs.

If it isn't so lean at idle try knocking the pilot screws back 1/4 of a turn and see if it goes back to being super-rich.. I think you may have an air-leak making it that lean?

Lets see how it runs with the 110's in though! Interesting to see.

kevprojex wrote:What make of dyno was the bike tested on ? i have a dynapro dyno and let me tell you 53bhp is a very good number for a bog stock nc30 and 12.5afr is not a rich mixture for making maximum power on a nc30 so your jetting is not far out at all , i tested a standard nc35 with 3,500mls on the clock and it only made 48bhp with a afr of 11.5 out of the honda factory ?? , dont rely too mutch on a afr reading they are very missleading and dont show you the whole story of how the engine burns the fuel mixture , look at the dyno graph and you should have a smooth curve , the smoother the climb the better, put smaller jets in and take it back and compare the curves and power output , idealy it should be done on the same day same dyno .
:plus: mine made about 55hp and not much above standard have done alot since phil with a kiss, my chain was fucked flat spot at 5k, stupidly rich through out on 118x120s

im now on 115x118s, that is a standard size for the L & M japanese models i believe.
